WWE Unforgiven 2008 Matches

WWE John Cena Update: John Cena is out Indefinitely: John Cena, the former WWE Champion was seriously injured at Summerslam, with his match against Batista. He ruptured a disk in his neck after the Batista Bomb at the very end of the match. John Cena was to originally appear in the Scramble Match at Unfogiven 2008. But due to his broken neck injury, John Cena would not be a able to participate. So, Last night, on Monday Night Raw, Raw’s General Manager Mike Adamle roped in the former World Champion, Rey Mysterio to be a part of the 5 Man World Heavyweight Championship Scramble.

Unforgiven 2008 Spoilers

As Published on August 20th : After Summerslam it was more obvious to predict what the matches will be. I believe that there would be 2 WWE Championship Scramble Match’s, one with 5 Raw Superstars and the other with the 5 SmackDown Superstars.

What is this Unforgiven Pay Per View Championship Scramble Match between CM Punk, Kane, Batista, JBL and John Cena?

These RAW Superstars will compete in a 20 minute match with the World Heavyweight Championship Belt changing hands with every pinfall or submission that takes place within the 20 minute match. The man who is the Champion when the 20 minutes is up will be declared the new World Heavyweight Champion.

This match was announced by the RAW General Manager Mike Admale on the night after SummerSlam 2008.

Here are my 2008 Unforgiven Predictions of the other Matches for the 2008 WWE Unforgiven PPV;

CM Punk vs John Cena vs Batista vs Kane vs JBL (World Heavyweight Championship Scramble)
HHH vs Edge/Big Show vs Undertaker (Triple Threat Match for the WWE title)
HBK vs Chris Jericho (No Disqualification Match / Street Match)
MVP vs Jeff Hardy vs Shelton Benjamin (Triple Threat Match for the US Title)
Matt Hardy vs Mark Henry (For the ECW Championship)
Kane vs Rey Mysterio
Mickie James vs Beth Phoenix (Woman’s title)

We might witness the return of the RKO Randy Orton as we have not seen him from a long time.
I predict HBK would return to WWE for one last match. I think the rivalries between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jerico is one of the biggest on Raw that we see today. The returning HBK has to deal with Chris Jericho at ringside after he got busted wide open over the past few weeks on RAW.

    I was checking on the votes this morning and noticed that JBL had no Votes at all. I still wonder why he is included in the Scramble Match. My vote goes with John Cena as I always see Title Changes at Unforgiven or WresleMania’s and he is all set to Revenge after he lost to Batista at SummerSlam 2008

  2. dilhan Says: August 23rd, 2008 at 11:54 am

    your web site rules. When i cant watch wrestling i get the infomation from wwe.com.

    it rocks.

  3. maddogg Says: August 24th, 2008 at 12:17 pm

    i hope john cena breaks his neck in the ring im sick of him been invincible just because 6 yearolds love him

  4. nuklear Says: August 24th, 2008 at 11:11 pm

    @dilhan : Thank you mate
    @maddogg : Yep! Cena as a champ frustrates me too. He is simply an overrated wrestler. He does not have a good finisher and wins every match the same way with his FU. The only reason he is on WWE is that, he can run his mouth 24 hours like some kinda rapper in the ring.

  5. Anti-g Says: August 25th, 2008 at 12:06 pm

    @maddogg, nuklear
    screw you guys.. john cena is an entertainer! WWE is all about entertainment. John Cena has shown immense committment to this form of sport and he deserves every bit of respect that people bestow on him (6 years and 60 years old alike).
    @nuklear – you think hulk hogan had any great finishers? He dint even have one to watch out for. He was an entertainer and so he got all the respect for it.

    There is just one man who can match up to his standard in the ring and that is batista. Cant wait to watch the match and see them fight for the title!!
    nice blog by the way..

  6. nuklear Says: August 26th, 2008 at 8:01 am

    After months of hatred boiling hotter and hotter, Shawn Michaels is going to fight Chris Jericho at Unforgiven 2008.
    @Anti-g : Check out the update above. You will see that the worthless John Cena is removed from the Championship Scramble and replaced by a much better entertainer Rey Mysterio.

  7. nuklear Says: August 27th, 2008 at 5:42 pm

    The 3 Questions in Everyone’s mind with the new Concept Matches. Vote for your predictable winners above.

    Who will Win the WWE HeavyWeight Championship Scramble Match At Unforgiven 2008?

    Who will Win the WWE Championship Scramble Match At Unforgiven 2008?

    Who will Win the ECW Championship Scramble Match At Unforgiven 2008?

  8. Anti-g Says: August 27th, 2008 at 6:30 pm

    Because he is suffering from injury doesnt make him worthless.. if he had gone out of wwe like the rock / stone cold for hollywood then I would consider him worthless.. Anyway, I am sure when he is back he will get a shot at the championship and he will for sure take it with him! And what a championship belt he has!!

  9. Akash Agarwal Says: September 1st, 2008 at 5:28 pm

    I WANT THE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH WIN BY HHH.AND I HOPE THE NEXT W.HEAVY CHAMP WILL BE ONE OF THEM.AT last HBK Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho i really wanted hbk kick jericho’s eye show him a hell..

  10. nuklear Says: September 2nd, 2008 at 12:09 am

    @Akash: Despite HBK’s doctor’s warning to take rest because of his injury, HBK has gone ahead with a challenge to Chris Jericho for an Unsanctioned Match at Unforgiven 2008, where neither Chris Jericho nor WWE would be liable if Michaels were to sustain further injury. I am sore he would be a 100% by then and screw Jericho’s Happiness for ever. Thats the match I am looking for the most

  27. nuklear Says: September 10th, 2008 at 10:13 am

    @mathew: I wanted Batista to win the Scramble match and John Cena Coming back to Replace CM Punk. That would have been exciting. Initially it looked like that when CM Punk got screwed.

    @Aamer: Rey can easily get thrown of by the Batista Bomb. He is a weakling mate.

    @Sage sagers: Yeah the Nigars S**ck. None of them are good

    @Sandra: If both the hardy’s would have won, the story line would have looked completely Fake. Although its partly fake and partly scripted you never know what surprises you get to see on the day of the PPV, like what happened to Chris Jericho

    Smackdown Manager V.Guerero must be replaced after paying for her sins of deprieving the Undertaker for the championship belt for several occations,and Edge must be in Hell for another steel cage match with Tacker so he can learn to be honest.

  39. WWE-FAN Says: October 4th, 2008 at 9:56 pm

    @ Sage and Nuklear: Why are you guys being races? It’s dumb fuckers like you that give all of us whites a bad name. You are two of the dumbest su***kers that I have ever encountered!

    Anyway, I am hoping and praying for Stephanie to return sometime and anytime soon. I am also looking forward to a feud between Shane/Orton. I want HHH to lose the title to Jeff, then their should be Jeff/Edge for the title. I want their to be a feud between HHH/Taker, but Taker should win. He’s better than HHH. =D

  40. nuklear Says: October 4th, 2008 at 10:32 pm

    @WWE-FAN: hmm I ain’t a racist. I was just telling facts and it was just a coincidence buddy. By the way I take back my words on that…And yeah… Stephanie is the hottest diva ever mate. She looks hot in those corporate outfits.
