This is a film by Grant Heslov and the screenplay has been written by Peter Straughan. The plot of the film is basically an adaptation from a book authored by Jon Ronson. The Men Who Stare At Goats belongs to the combined genre of comedy and war and is rather an interesting take on the manner in which a section of the US army deploys certain powers. Well, how would it seem if you get to know that paranormal powers can be legitimately used in war operations? Intriguing, to say the least! Well, this is exactly what the First Earth Battalion of the US Army had been doing in order to attain success in their missions.

The film is set to hit the screens on Friday, November 6, 2009 and bears the tagline “No goats. No glory”. The secret is spilled when an Iraqi reporter gets hold of a scoop that can entirely change his life. He decides to engage himself in investigating the dangerous details of war missions after his marriage fails and he finds himself in an undesirable emotional mess. He feels such an attempt would surely lift his sagging spirits and he would be once again in a position to face the world normally. This happens when he has a chance encounter with Lyn Cassady who is himself a former member of this unit of the US army.
