While this includes bodies being stabbed, massive close-ups of bullet wounds, and other sorts of general dismemberment, the most egregious offense the characters commit is chronicling a real-time, graphical sexual assault. Certainly not for the fainthearted, The Last House on The Left remains one of the most visceral horror films ever made. Some people might say this film really makes them think. Yet, some might say they think it sucks. There are worse reactions to this film. But if somebody you know says he really liked it, don’t ask him why, but be careful what he thinks next.
