Ti West writes and directs the new horror film, The House of the Devil. This Glass Eye Pix and Dark Sky Films picture will be out in theaters in limited release on Friday, October 30, 2009. The House of the Devil stars Jocelin Donahue, Tom Noonan, Mary Woronov, Dee Wallace AJ Bowen, and Greta Gerwig.

The House of the Devil is set in the 1980s. Samantha Hughes is a college student takes a babysitting job with an odd family in a remote mansion. The job pays enough for her to make a down payment on the apartment she has her eye one. She gets the job through her friend, Megan, but when they get to the house, Samantha realizes there’s more to the job than simply babysitting. The Ullman family is more than odd, in fact, there’s no babysitting job, the Ullmans have no children. Samantha discovers she’s trapped in the house, and that night is a full lunar eclipse. Not only is the sky dark, but so are the Ullmans. Will they carry out their horrible ritual? Will Samantha be their sacrifice – albeit unwilling? Or will Samantha find a way to escape. The House of the Devil is in theaters in time for Halloween, you won’t want to miss a second of the thrills.
