The film Precious presents the revelation of an angry and distressed childhood of a teen who happens to be pregnant with her second child. She is an obese girl who has suffered in every possible abominable way and finds herself in a deplorable state from the moment she managed to attain consciousness regarding her very existence. But even under such dire situation, this girl still manages to hold the anticipation that something better is awaiting her in due course of her life. In this movie she presents her story from her early childhood and narrates the various instances of abuse, neglect and torture that she was made to suffer from within her very family.
