Harry Potter (David Radcliffe) returns for his Sixth Year at Hogwarts along with Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Grainger (Emma Watson), and most of their friends and teachers. But there is more going on in this important 6th year than Harry being Captain of the Quidditch team. Hormones fly among the teenage wizards, with strange effects. Ron has a girlfriend, Lavender Brown. Hermonine will never admit that she’s jealous of the relationship. Harry finds himself growing closer to Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright), but there are complications – like his best friend, and Ginny’s current boyfriend, Dean Thomas. Not to mention Harry is obsessed in finding out what Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) is doing sneaking around.
But despite all the normal teenage issues, Harry’s got much bigger problems. Voldemort is free and Death Eaters roam not only the magical world, but the Muggle one as well. Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) searches for any weakness he can find to help Harry eventually defeat Voldemort once and for all. To that end, he brings in a new Potions Instructor, Horace Slughorn, to teach Harry. Will they be able to defeat Voldemort? Is Malfoy working for the dark lord?

i just don’t understand why people come on this site just to write a bad review about a very good movie.this is probably the best of the series so far.it is such a joy to watch these actors mature into the roles they have been playing for years now.the acting is first rate and the storyline is very emotional.jim broadbent was amazing!i loved this movie and will see it again when it comes to the $2 theater.well worth the price of admission!
