Dark Blue is the story of undercover police life. Dylan McDermott stars as Lieutenant Carter Shaw, chief of special investigations. He and his fellow officers are an undercover team so deep the rest of the department doesn’t know about them. As the Head of the team Carter is a troubled man dealing with the loss of his wife. His team includes Jaimie (Nicki Aycox), a rookie patrol cop with a shady past and is adept at lying; Ty (Omari Hardwick), a recently married officer struggling with relationships and the challenges of being undercover; and Dean (Logan Marshall-Green) a loose-cannon cop who may have gone bad. Can Shaw keep his team together an alive as they bring down the bad guys? Will they be able to work out their own lives while doing their jobs?
