Astro Boy is an origin story film about a young robot created by Dr. Tenma. Astro Boy was made in the image of Tenma’s son and is imbued with incredible power. However, he can never replace the son Tenma lost. Knowing he can’t meet Tenma’s expectations, Astro Boy sets out to find acceptance.
