2012 is a new movie that will be released in the movie theatres all over the country on November 13th. The movie has been directed by Roland Emmerich and the screenplay if the movie has been written by Roland Emmerich and Harald Kloser. This movie belongs to the category of action, drama, sci-fi and thriller. 2012 has a tagline which cats “We Were Warned”. In this movie, the central character is an academic researcher. He has come to know about prophesies related to the destruction of this world, in the Mayan calendar. The researcher tries to save the earth and in the process he opens up a portal into the parallel world. In that parallel world the researcher also connects with his own parallel self.

The Mayan calendar says that the world will be extinct on December 21st in the year 2012. As the date progresses, it is noticed that the earth is moving into a chaotic state. No one understands what is happening and how it will be stopped. There is only one man who knows what this means. His name is Jackson Curtis and it is up to him to save the world from destruction.
