According to TNA wrestling President Dixie Carter, They chose this venue for the biggest event “2009 TNA Genesis” because they thought that Charlotte has the most number of wrestling fans around the United States. One thing more, the residents of Charlotte have never yet seen something like this wrestling event, aside from other fighting events held at the coliseum. This will bring more excitement to the Genesis event.
Pay-Per View privileges are also available for those who wouldn’t be able to go to Charlotte, North Carolina but want to watch the show live. This is brought to you by the TNA organizers as loyal fans of TNA wrestling.
Featured TNA superstars who will be seen in the “Genesis” event are TNA World Heavyweight Champion “The Icon” Sting, TNA Women’s Champion Awesome Kong and Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, joined by Mick Foley and Booker T, just to name a few.
