The television series The Vampire Diaries is based on the novel series written by L J Smith. In this series we get an insight into the diary of Elena Gilbert. She has always been a very good and popular student of the school and a very beautiful girl too. In the fall semester Elena comes closer to a new boy in the school, whose name is Stefan Salvatore. Nothing much is known about the boy and he is very mysterious too. Elena also does not have any idea that Stefan is actually a vampire. Stefan wants to live peacefully with the humans, but his brother Damon is very brutal and violent.
