In The Big Bang Theory Season 3 Episode 7: “The Guitarist Amplification”, you will find Sheldon deciding to harp on humanity factors as he tries to do some good. But, this is not something to be unduly appreciated. You might well remember from the earlier episodes that Leonard and Penny could not really get on with each other. There have been numerous instances where they ended up squabbling with each other and this bitterness is something that have become unavoidable by each passing day. It is at this juncture that Sheldon drops in to interfere and you might be left feeling that this act is very noble of Sheldon. After all, he tries his best to mediate and solve the crises. But hey, wait! There is something more to what apparently meets the eye. Sheldon plays a mediator not with the sole intent of resolving the problem between Penny and Leonard. He does it as he finds it extremely difficult to stay and live in such a situation and feels that their fighting is making it more and more inconvenient for him to live. So, this is not a selfless act of doing good to benefit others.
