Suzuki Splash – the next Wagon-R for India is on its way to take i-10 head on. Its based on a complete new platform unlike Swift & SX4 but it does have certain hints taken from them. The design is very aggressive especially at the rear end which is more like a french hatchback & which is quite new to India. The Interiors are quite similar to the swift & it has good amount of space as well.

Engine & Power:
Splash would be on sale in 2008 in India with a choice of three engines; a three-cylinder 1.0-litre (65 BHP), a 1.2-litre four-cylinder (86 BHP) and a 1.3-litre DDiS turbo-diesel (75 BHP).

Safety:
The more likely specifications would include anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake-force distribution system (EBD) as standard on all models, while the highly debated and desirable Electronic stability program (ESP) and six airbags (dual front airbags, dual seat-side airbags, dual curtain airbags) will be available on the higher grades or as options. But we need to wait for the variants that Suzuki plans to launch with these features, keeping in mind the price factor.

With the growing reputation of Suzuki worldwide, spearheaded by the brands like iconic Swift & SX4, the company has come a long way to become the world’s 12th largest manufacturer.

   Looks are not innovative.Only 1.2 Litre engine is new & exciting. I’ll like to know the price as I’minterested in booking. Also dimensions are not known. i’m hoping it shall be roomy.

   If priced below Swift & I-10 Kappa, it will surely be a hit. But five peoples hsall sit comfortably.
