Steve Mcnair shot dead in Nashville Tennessee – The sports world is in a state of shock today because according to various news agencies, 3 time NFL Quarterback Steve Mcnair was found dead in a Nashville Apartment. This is a tragic loss for the sports world beyond description because Steve Mcnair was such a good NFL quarterback. He was someone who helped out in the community and as of right now it is being reported that he was shot dead along with an unidentified Female victim. He is also a legend in the NFL because he helped put the Tennessee Titans on the map.

He was an inspiration for younger NFL quarterbacks such as Vince Young and certainly he is going to get some hall of fame consideration when he is eligable. What made Steve Mcnair so great was that he was so courageous as a Quarterback. He is most remembered for his famous play in Superbowl XXXIV in which he scrambled to avoid a sack and threw a pass to Kevin Dyson who was tackled at the 1 yard line. That one play was the stuff of legend and even though the Titans lost the superbowl as a result, It shows how good he can be.
