Rihanna’s dad, Ronald Fenty, has spoken out about the alleged attack on Rihanna from her
boyfriend, singer Chris Brown. He tells US Magazine that “She’s doing OK.” He also goes on to say, “She has support from both sides of the family, and I think she’ll come out and represent women and be a heroine. In the end, she’ll speak out.” Fenty also talked about Chris Brown, saying he was “shocked” that he would do this.
The alleged attack place the night before the Grammy Awards after leaving a pre-Grammy party held by Clive Davis. According to reports, Brown and Rihanna were fighting and when they got out of the car, Brown allegedly attacked her, laying his hands on her. It has also been reported that Rihanna has bruises and even bite marks on her face, neck and body. So far, no felony charges have been put against Chris Brown. He turned him self into the police and was later released on bond that same day. Meanwhile, Rihanna is said to be relaxing and laying low in her native Barbados. She has yet to speak about the incident with Chris Brown.
