“Twilight” is a movie with a chilling story that should be the toast of the tinsel town the moment it opens up on November 21st this year. What makes it special is the ultra-famous band Paramore, who have stepped up to record a song ‘decode’ as the catchphrase song of the movie.
The band, known for its versatility, and generous definition of Guitar playing has been going from strength to strength, and after a hugely triumphant year has given us sparkling hits like “Misery business” and “That’s what you get“.
“Decode”, their latest dish, is scorching hearts with supersonic speed, and has earned a place in Myspace.com and renowned author Stephanie Meyer’s official webpage; that too pre-release.
It is getting millions of streams played in its initial week itself and has consequently been taken up by multi-format radio outlets, billed as a top-draw song from a potential block-buster “Twilight”. Streaming of the song started on October 20th.
Just to add the necessary icing, the movie also boasts of another Paramore song –”I caught myself“. So one is having two in the bush while dealing with Twilight, so to speak!
Paramore has been doing relentless concerts worldwide, ever since summer this year and is tipped to go busier. They have been short-listed for prestigious awards as mtvU’s 2008 Woodie awards and MTV Europe Music awards.
The growing fame can be measured with a simple tidbit that its leading female guitarist is slated to play alongside legends such as Jimmy Hendrix, Sting, Ozzy Osborne and Billy Corgan.
