This series is set on the back drop of a fictional small town that is called Tree Hill. This story is about two half brothers, who have nothing in common except their family name. One of the brothers is named Lucas, who is a street side basketball player. But there is not much appreciation for the basketball skills that Lucas has. He is appreciated only by his friends. The other brother Nathan on the other hand is a sort of a hero of the town, as he is a star of his high school team. They are the sons of the former college ball player Dan Scott, who had long ago left his first wife Karen and their son Lucas and settled with his second wife Deb and their son Nathan. Till now, Dan has been successful in keeping his two sons apart, but you never know when time and fortune changes for Dan.
