The German luxury car maker Audi launched its latest A4 sedan in India on 10th July 2008. Benoit Tiers, MD, Audi India, unveiled this in Mumbai, John Abrahim being the host.

The latest version comes in two options- 2.0 TDI multitronic with 143 BHP output & 3.2 FSI tiptronic Quattro with 265 BHP output.Both use the direct fuel injection principal – FSI technology for the petrol engine & the common-rail system for the TDI engine. The 4.7 meter long sedan ensures the largest legroom in its segment which also contribute to a 480 liter boot.

Pricing would be in the range of 29 – 36 lakhs ex-showroom Mumbai excluding taxes & import duties and depending on the versions available with 2.0 TDI & 3.2 FSI engines. These models would be imported initially & by the year end it would be assembeled as completely knocked down (CKD) units.
