Watch Nate Campbell vs Ali Funeka Free Live Streaming Video in a 12 Round Lightweight Title Bout on Feb 14th, 2009 at 10:00 pm ET/PT, Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida.

Valentine’s Day is not only a day for romance; it’s a day for boxing! On this day, Nate Campbell – Ali Funeka will step into the ring to see which man is the toughest. The 31-year-old Funeka, who hails from South Africa, is an up and coming boxer who has only been beaten once in his entire professional career. His opponent, Nate Campbell, is the reigning WBA, IBF, and WBO lightweight champion.
Funeka has some nice entries on his boxing resume. His most recent victory was against Zahir Raheem, and it came after Funeka had spent ten months away from the sport. However, he easily stepped into the ring and beat Raheem in the fourth round. His record of 30-1-2 with 25 KOs is certainly impressive, but Funeka has never fought outside of his home country. With the match against Campbell being held in the United States, Funeka will not have his home court advantage. Campbell, on the other hand, comes into the match with a 32-5-1 record and 25 KOs. He’s 36, and his last match was in March of 2008. Will almost a year out of the ring affect him or, like Funeka, will he jump back into the sport with no noticeable lapse? Campbell hasn’t suffered a defeat since April of 2006, but that’s really only a year-long winning streak since his summer 2008 fight against Joan Guzman fell through. The match could do a lot for Funeka’s career – if Campbell wins, Funeka becomes a nobody who can only win in his home country. If Funeka picks up the win, he scores another huge bump for his career and sends Campbell spiraling downward. When it comes down to it, little is known about the South African boxer. Because of this, it’s hard to tell who will come out on top in this match.
