Instinct plays a big part in any person’s life. The day i saw Bombaat’s movie posters i instinctively felt Ganesh is not suited for the role. I did not know why, but it was kind of obvious that’s its difficult for Ganesh to pull of a “supposed to be” action movie. The hype surrounding the movie was tremendous and it has got a super initial, but i am afraid to say, it may not last long.
Bombaat has a simple story of guy liking girl, misunderstandings, rowdism, mafia, police etc etc sewn up together and lasts for nearly 150 mins. The comedy and dialogues are very weak, the screen lights up in scenes where Adi Lokesh arrives. He has done a good job along with the two villains Mukul Rishi and Rahul Dev who have tremendous screen presence.
Weirdly the movie does not actually bore you like Minchina Ota does. But somehow the audience cannot relate to Ganesh’s character Anand. I heard some middle aged women sitting next to me saying Ganesh should do his lover boy sentimental roles only. I somehow agree with them after seeing Bombaat.
Ganesh’s physique for the movie is a big letdown. I had expected him to tone up more and look the action man on screen. But alas, he still has his tummy hanging and its all a bit awkward for even Ganesh’s fans to see on screen. Imagine Rahul Dev’s body and Ganesh so easily thrashes him mercilessly 
.
Mano Murthy’s magic touch has eluded Ganesh this time. Only “Maathinalli” deserves some praise. The title song is very very badly picturized.
Ramya is a revelation. She has worked on her physique a lot compared to Mussanje Maathu and looks very glamorous. She was awesomely dressed up compared to ganesh.
Above all it’s again Rajendra Babu’s failure. He could have got it edited better. But he has failed.
What to watch out for in the movie? The Cinematography in locations of Austria (Salzburg) area is very good. Adi Lokesh. Ramya’s glamour.
Biggest losers ? Ganesh and Rajendra Babu.
Should you watch it? Only if you want to maintain your record of having watched all Ganesh’s movies
