The renowned A.C.Millan midfielder appeared at the packed Wembley Stadium and played to set new record for himself. With this match he managed to break the earlier record of 108 matches. That record was made by former England captain Bobby Moore.
To mention in this regard Beckham appeared in this match only in the second half and that too as a substitute.
The veteran midfielder expressed his desire in front of all that his next target would be to go for smashing the 125 appearance record. This record appearance was achieved by Peter Shilton, the retired goal keeper of England team.
The A.C.Millan footballer has also given vent to the secret desire of his mind that he wants to continue his game till he turns 50.
