Edna Scott Parker, born in April 20, 1893 in Morgan County, Indiana died at the age of 115 on November 26, 2008 in a nursing home in Indiana. She became the Guinness World Record holder as the world’s oldest person to live for 115 years.

Edna Parker was a Teacher by profession who had 2 sons, who both passed away before she did. She married her neighbor Earl Parker on 12th April, 1913. The most surprising part is she had 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren.
