WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2009 Game

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 (SVR 2009) has hit the charts again. Get ready once again to be in the ring with your favorite WWE stars and experience the exploratory fun in the form of virtual realization from the top 3 gaming franchises in the world the PlayStation 2, Wii and XBox 360. These gaming devices always up hold the expectations of their viewers by providing the most levelheaded simulations of live WWE programming.

People were crazily waiting for the game from its very first advertisement on the Internet. People have admired Raw and SmackDown since its beginning and never missed a show. The match, the graphics, the story lines and the tag team playing, all look very much impressive and well built.

WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2009 is the acknowledged preference for those who inquire about an ambitious, content-rich and gratifying sports pursuit videogame. It offers an impressive list of new features and significant franchise improvements across all platforms

The WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 is the best among the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 as you can create your own finisher and this is probably the most excellent thing which can be added to this game. It is the ninth game of this series with tons of customization and modes. The basic engine of the game is the same but with a lot of tweaking and personalization.

There are many features and attributes added by Yuke to this new version. There is a better hit revealing almost in every match situation along with a greater concentration given to the hotspots which prompt effects such as entering or exiting the ring and designate when a superstar should be climbing to the top rope for aerial maneuvers.

Presently the game is available in 1-4 players options in both online and offline environments. For the ease of the players it has downloadable content and online leader boards as well. Online voice support with EDTV 480p and HDTV 720p support is also an added feature in the game.

The look and the feel of the game is definitely far better than the last year’s release as it has a lot more content to render to the viewers, facial maps and general body textures are greatly improved and are richly enhanced. The 3D flair is enhanced in the game by muscle striations and vein bulging effect of each wrestler during the game. Aesthetics make you feel that you are the part of the fighting ring and it’s indeed a great achievement.

The entry of every wrestler is highlighted with astonishing precision, as the all songs and scores are from the actual shows and voice performing features the actual performers in all of the important areas and the stands are full of strident, sign-wielding fans. This creates a sense of enthusiasm for the player. The game supports interactive backstage and round-the-ring environment. To add a realistic touch in the game there is a toss before every major event and with appropriate lightening effects.

The best part of teaming up now is that the two characters purpose as much more of a team, there’s a lot less sentiment of individual effort out there. Health is still mainly based on if an individual wrestler is getting worn out or doing the rough treatment in the ring, but overall momentum waxes and wanes with the duo’s on the whole presentation.

Extraordinary moves have also been implemented just for tag-team action, such as the standard double-teams commonly seen in the WWE, and even finishers which call upon the skills of both brawlers. Even the climactic “hot tag” scenarios, where the down-and-out wrestler in-ring somehow finds the will to tag his fresh and overly enthusiastic partner is in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 to add that additional level of realism. These additions may seem minor, but they definitely created a more believable tag-team experience in our mega-card Saturday Night Main Event throw-down.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 has astounding amount of match types available. If you don’t see a match type in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009’s menus, it perhaps doesn’t exist in the WWE. Other than the wrestling standard number of competitors in typical steel cage match or Royal Rumble, you can enjoy WWE trademarks such as Hell in Cell, ECW Extreme Rule, MITB and Inferno match as well.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 gives you full option to customize the rosters with the help of separate Career mode, where wrestlers are allowed to move among the brands.

The game menu list is much impressive as it is longer than the expectations of the viewers. There is an availability of customized tournament arena which can be created from the scratch as required by the player. The lists of super stars can be cooked from the start and their lists can be then moved in any way done by the player. You can also edit the entering and exiting sequences with simple and robust snippets provided by the vendor.

Currently the game is present online with the four player mode and live functionality is more standard as the user formed content is very much welcomed. A number of new characters are added in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 such as chris jericho, poul london, brian kendrick, and the ultimate warrior.

So finally the cat is out of the bag now with a great bang. The game is really stepped up in several aspects which makes it the best wrestling game currently being played. Greater online functionality and character customization has made the game much closer to the imagination and expectation of the player.

It seems that innovation is on its way through this game so over all you are on a dynamic wrestling ride with WWE SVR 2009.

The Inevitable Wrestling War between WWE vs. TNA

In the world of professional wrestling today, only two organizations are at the helm, wrestling each other and battling for supremacy in the sport’s entertainment industry. These two organizations are the biggest, and perhaps, the only wrestling shows that can be seen on television these days. At the moment, professional wrestling entertainment is being shaped by the rivalry that exists between the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Name one professional wrestler now and surely that athlete belongs only either with the WWE or the TNA. That is proof of the dominance of these two wrestling companies nowadays. They have a monopoly over the wrestling entertainment industry.

With the current success of the wrestling entertainment business – which is considered as one of the most profitable sports entertainment industry – also comes the widening feud between WWE and TNA. Although the rivalry is not that old, the prize at stake is very huge. Both companies aim to rule an industry that is now becoming a giant in the world of sports entertainment.

A Brief Look at the History of the Wrestling Industry

Is WWE Fake or Real

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

WWE is Scripted and Not FAKE

World Wrestling Entertainment is just pure fun. People Watch It For Entertainment. Why do you bother if it is fake, scripted or not real. Some of those moves or falls are as real as it gets. Things can go seriously wrong and wrestlers do get hurt.

Some parts of WWE are real, like jumping off ladders and bleeding, and even being slammed on the Steel Steps. You may see a suplex or a DDT happening but there is more to it, than you think. Wrestlers execute the moves in a way that makes it look painful to others, but the fact is no one gets seriously injured. They are well trained to perform such moves. They no doubt go through Tables and get hit by chairs, barb wires ladders etc, but all this is done safely so that no one gets seriously hurt and the pain is very minimal.

Again opinions differ from person to person, I believe that WWE isn’t totally Fake, but Partly Scripted or Staged like a Movie or a TV Show and Partly Fake. The Wrestling Matches are Predetermined as to the winner or looser of the match. There are several wrestling schools, in order for wrestlers to learn how to execute a move without injuring another wrestler. It is a predetermined outcome, but with events like this people to get hurt sometimes. Just because the outcomes are decided “in the back” doesn’t make them less fun to watch.

When you see matches like Undertaker versus Mankind in a hell in a cell where Mankind fell from the top of the cell and falls into a table which resulted in several injuries. Or the match between Owen Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin in which, Owen wrongly executed a move and injured Stone Cold badly. Those were some of the Better Wrestling Matches I have seen for real.
