Friday, February 27th, 2009NFL football star Tom Brady and model Giselle Bundchen got married today in a private ceremony that started at dusk. They wed at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, California. The guest list was mostly immediate family, including Tom Brady’s son from a previos relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
The bride wore form-fitting ivory wedding dress that was donned with lace. The dress was made by fashion moguls Dolce and Gabbana. Her three dogs also wore matching Dolce and Gabbana lace collars.
The couple had been dating for almost 3 years and just recently got engaged some time over the holiday season last year. Giselle even denied reports last year that her and Tom were engaged at the time. She told a Brazilian magazine that “Someone deduced I was getting engaged…I don’t know how people are so creative.” There had been reports that the couple was planning on wedding in Costa Rica later this year.
The two already have a $11.7 million plot of land that they purchased last year. It is located in a gated community in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Octuplets Mother Talks To Dr. Phil

Nadya Suleman, who just gave birth to the famous octuplets, sat down and talked Dr. Phil McGraw about some of her fears and concerns. One of her biggest fears is that she will not be allowed to take home her babies from the hospital until she proves that she has the ability to take care of them all. Suleman has come under a lot of scrutiny for having the babies since it was found out that she is a single mother who doesn’t have a job, lives with her mother, and has 6 other children. She has also acknowledged that she does receive food stamps and disability money from one of her kids.
After talking to officials at the hospital where the babies currently are in a neonatal care unit, Suleman fears that she may not be able to take her babies home anytime soon. She told Dr. Phil basically if she can’t prove she can provide a better environment for the children, they are not going to release the children to her.
Suleman has also received death threats and tons of hate mail and backlash. At one point she even took her children into seclusion because of the threats. It has also been reported that Suleman’s mother, who owns the home they live in is foreclosing on the home after being $23,000 behind on the mortgage. There is no word where Suleman and her kids will live now.
Megan Fox – Brian Austin Green Engagement

Transformers star, Megan Fox has called off her engagement to longtime boyfriend, Brian Austin Green. According to a source that is close to the couple, the decision “was mutual” and they are “still friends.” The couple met back in 2004 and was engaged in November 2006. According to the source, the reason for the breakup was that the relationship had basically run it’s course and there was nothing left there anymore. After being together for 5 years, the relationship was over.
According to an interview that Megan Fox did last November for GQ, the wedding was still on and she was hoping for a small wedding or possibly eloping. There was never any talk of wanting any children, as Brian Austin Green already has a 6 year old son with actress Vanessa Marcil. Fox said that she wanted to do more movies like Transformers and then she would “explore family” options.
Megan Fox, who will be starring in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this June and Green, who has a regular role on the television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, are now both “focusing on their careers.”
Rihanna Photos Leaked – Police Investigation

LAPD Investigation Over Leaked Rihanna Photos
The Los Angeles police department have launched an investigation on how photos of a bruised and beaten Rihanna were leaked out. The photos were official police photos that were taken for the domestic violence investigation against Chris Brown. They show Rihanna with bruises, scrapes and a swelled up face. They were taken right after the incident with Chris Brown happened.
The police are asking for help from the public to see if anyone knows exactly who leaked the pictures out. The only people that had access to the pictures were members of the police force. A statement from the LAPD said “The Department launched an immediate internal investigation and subsequently filed a personnel complaint. A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination.”
TMZ online was the first place to show the picture of Rihanna on the web and it seems that they were the ones that have the actual picture from whoever leaked it out to them.
Chris Brown has been arrested for making criminal threats and is still awaiting official charges from the police. Having these photos leaked will affect the charges and case if he does get charged and has to go to trial.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Move in Together
Wednesday, February 18th, 2009Justin Timberlake and girlfriend Jessica Biel are taking their relationship one step further. They have bought an apartment together in Manhattan and have started moving in their stuff together. The couple has been dating for two years. This is the first time that the couple has officially lived together. The apartment is estimated to be worth $2.9 million. According to Justin’s mother, Lynn, “The apartment is great. He’s loving it!” Timberlake had previously been linked to actress Cameron Diaz, who he did live with when they dated.
Another first happened for Justin Timberlake this week as he featured his clothing line on stage at Bryant Park for fashion week. Timberlake co-founded the William Rast clothing line with his friend Trace Ayala several years ago but this is the first time they made their fashion line available at fashion week. The clothing line is geared toward the younger market, like Timberlake, and is mostly known for their jeans.
This must be Justin Timberlake’s week, because he was also named one of GQ’s “Top Ten Most Stylish Men.” He was picked for this list due to his fashion line but also his trend setting personal style.
No Charges Filed Against Michael Phelps
Tuesday, February 17th, 2009Gold medalist Michael Phelps will not be encountering any charges stemming from the pictures that were released of him smoking marijuana. According to the county sheriff, “Having thoroughly investigated this matter, we do not believe we have enough evidence to prosecute anyone that was present at the November party,”
A few weeks back, pictures were leaked out showing Michael Phelps smoking marijuana from a bong at a party he attended. The photos were from a party that he attended back in November in while visiting the University of South Carolina. Phelps came under great scrutiny after the photos were released. People were shocked that the 14 time gold medalist was doing drugs. Phelps has come out publicly and apologized for what he did and has made clear that at no time during his training or during the Olympics was he doing drugs.
Even though Phelps may not be facing criminal charges, he still has suffered consequences from these pictures. He was suspended for three months by USA swimming and is not allowed to practice at any of the facilities for those three months. He also lost a sponsorship deal with Kellogg’s.
Elizabeth Wong’s Nude Pictures Scandal

These may not be the best times for the privacy of politicians. On the heels of Sarah Palin’s social networking identity hack, a far more morally degradable event has happened in the Malaysian political circle. Elizabeth Wong has been victimized and the perpetrators have splashed her nude pictures and videos globally via MMS and other means.
Selangor executive councilor Elizabeth suggested that “This constitutes a gross outrage on my modesty, a gross invasion of my privacy, and in particular the sanctity of my personal life,” She asked for all the possible support in these stern times and went forward to lodge an official complaint with the Damansara police station.
The bad news is that despite getting a sympathetic breather and all the possible support, the Bulit Lanjan assemblyman will have to forfeit all the posts she is holding under the Malaysian government presently.
The precedence has already come in the form of V. Arumugam who had to forego his public post after being indicted on charges of bigamy. Wong is leaving no stone unturned to bring back her moral heights. She is presently collaborating with her lawyers and in the meanwhile also planning to meet the party officials for the same purpose.
The photographs are apparently taken from a hand phone and it constitutes a criminal charge under penal code (act 574)
The whole event could just be politically maneuvered and image tarnishing could well be behind the act. PKR assemblymen are now customary to being tarnished publicly. Amidst all hoopla, the PMO has stood by the tainted Selangor councilor.
Elizabeth Wong’s Statement
I was informed on Friday, Feb 13, 2009 by journalists from the Malay Mail that they have in their possession intimate photos of myself and that the newspaper will be publishing a story about these photographs.
I was told that some people are trying to distribute photos/videos showing me asleep in partial nudity and also in intimate positions.
The distribution and publication of these photos/video is a malicious attack on my personality. This constitutes a gross outrage on my modesty, a gross invasion of my privacy, and in particular the sanctity of my personal life. It is being done by unscrupulous persons to embarrass and discredit me?
I am a victim in this incident.I have yesterday lodged a police report in relation to this matter and I will fully cooperate with the police in their investigation. I will therefore not speculate publicly about those responsible for this gross invasion of my privacy.
I have received a lot of support from my supporters, friends, colleagues and members of my constituency. I wish to thank them for their concern, support and encouragement.My family members are standing behind me. I would like to appeal to the media to give me and my family members some breathing space in this trying time so that I can weather this huge challenge. I will in the meantime continue to carry out my task of serving the people of Selangor faithfully.

Salma Hayek Celebrates Valentine’s Day With a Wedding

Actress Salma Hayek has finally married the father of her child and longtime boyfriend, in a ceremony at city hall in Paris. Francois-Henri Pinault and Hayek were married on Valentine’s Day according to the French news magazine Le Point, which is owned by the Pinault family.
The couple had called off their engagement back in July 2008 and had just recently rekindled their romance a couple of months ago. According to friends, the couple reunited when Hayek headed to France for a fashion show and met up with Pinault. The couple originally got engaged back in March 2007, only a few months before their daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault was born in September.
Pinault is a very successful French business man that is well-known in Paris. He is the CEO of PPR and is also the son of one of the richest men, Francois Pinault. Pinault also has two children from a previous marriage. Salma Hayek is currently guest starring on the television show 30 Rock. Last week while on the Rachel Ray Show, she told Rachel that when she kisses Alec Baldwin on the show, she imagines that she is kissing Pinault.
Rihanna’s Dad Says She’s “Ok”
Sunday, February 15th, 2009Rihanna’s dad, Ronald Fenty, has spoken out about the alleged attack on Rihanna from her
boyfriend, singer Chris Brown. He tells US Magazine that “She’s doing OK.” He also goes on to say, “She has support from both sides of the family, and I think she’ll come out and represent women and be a heroine. In the end, she’ll speak out.” Fenty also talked about Chris Brown, saying he was “shocked” that he would do this.
The alleged attack place the night before the Grammy Awards after leaving a pre-Grammy party held by Clive Davis. According to reports, Brown and Rihanna were fighting and when they got out of the car, Brown allegedly attacked her, laying his hands on her. It has also been reported that Rihanna has bruises and even bite marks on her face, neck and body. So far, no felony charges have been put against Chris Brown. He turned him self into the police and was later released on bond that same day. Meanwhile, Rihanna is said to be relaxing and laying low in her native Barbados. She has yet to speak about the incident with Chris Brown.
Peter Gabriel Pulls Out of Oscar Performance
Saturday, February 14th, 2009Even tough Peter Gabriel is nominated for an Oscar for his song “Down to Earth,” from Wall-E, he has decided to reject the offer from the Academy Awards and not perform the song. Gabriel was told that he would only have one minute to sing the song and absolutely no more time than that. The reason why he only has one minute to sing the song is because this year there will only be a medley performance of the nominated songs. Unlike the past years where every song was sung separately and all the way through, each song will only have a minute to perform and then the next song is up. This was done to help shorten the duration of the Oscars, as they ran over 3 hours last year.
Peter Gabriel wrote a letter to the Academy stating,
“I don’t feel that is sufficient time to do the song justice, and I have decided to withdraw from performing.”
According to a spokesperson for Gabriel, he will still attend the Oscars and is he is not angry over the situation. As of right now, there is no replacement for Gabriel and it is still unknown who will sing the song on Oscar night.
