Sharukh Khan’s yet another Home Production, Billo Barber, is a story adaptation of the “Krishna Sudama Friendship” and is a remake of the super-hit Malayalam film Kadha Parayumbol (starring Sreenivasan and Mammootty). Produced by Sharukh Khan himself and Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie is set to release on 16th January 2009.

The movie contains a huge star cast of whom Shahrukh Khan, Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta are in the lead roles and Om Puri, Asrani and Rajpal Yadav in supporting roles with guest appearances by actresses Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone doing Item numbers with Sharukh Khan in the movie.

Billo Barber is a story of 2 friends, one rich (Sharukh) and the other poor (Irfan). They drift apart after school days and meet again after several years. Everyone wants Billo to meet the Rich Superstar. But Billo is unsure that he may not be recognized by him and that he feels he cannot compare to the Super-star status now.
