Most of us have a sense of despondency in our lives. The pursuit of Instant Karma, the weekday rat race, the pressure to excel everywhere from the books to the bed have taken us away from achieving pleasant simple happiness. Years pass by with no realm of satisfaction. Years have become, just a number, the higher it goes, the more the frustration of our futile lives and the larger question of living it in this way, ponders us everyday we wake up.
But in all this, man has to realize it is not the years but the days of our lives that makes up the years. Live your day well, sleep a satisfied man and your life will take the turn for the better.
So here I list 6 simple things to do that will make you feel nicer about life. Off course, most of them are things that you already know off and probably would have done. But its nice to do them all together and may be repeat them again over time.
6 ) Arrange a Get together with old friends who you have not met in ages. Relive your childhood pranks, memories of school,college with them. May be watch “Finding Nemo” together. Make your best friends happy by gifting them something nice.
5 ) Have you ever tried Adventure Sports? The rush of adrenalin will leave you wanting for more. You will feel that there is so much fun stuff to do in this world. Also the sense of achievement of doing it will leave you happy every time you think of it. (Remember you last bungee or the white water rafting or any other adventure you did. The experience stays with you all your life)

4 ) Go on a Family trip. Make mom and dad happy by taking them out to a pleasant beach or a hill station. Spend some quality time with them. They will be immensely happy and proud of you. The little joys are always savored the longest.
3 ) Buy a camera. Take a photography lesson either by a tutor or via the net. Start exploring the world with your camera.
2 ) Think of something you did a lot of in your childhood, something you really loved but somehow you have given up doing it now. May be things like swimming, cycling, hiking, hanging out with cousins, playing a musical instrument. Anything that occupied a lot of your mind then and made you happy. Try and redo them again.
1 ) Write a blog. This is a very cool way to de-stress and tell the world what you feel about anything and everything. Try it and you will not stop.
James Dean died when he was only 24 years old. Always known as the causeless rebel, he gave us an immortal quote about life. “Dream as if you will live forever, live as if you will die today“. Mr Dean you hit the nail, damn bang center. RIP.

Thank you meekgeek, for it bought a smile on my face after reading this. Simple things, but yet we forget to actually enjoy in what we do. We are always into the the rat race of being the best. I feel my life is getting rotten each day, working as a Software Engineer. I am sure all you guys do. Just doing it for a living.
