Transformers star, Megan Fox has called off her engagement to longtime boyfriend, Brian Austin Green. According to a source that is close to the couple, the decision “was mutual” and they are “still friends.” The couple met back in 2004 and was engaged in November 2006. According to the source, the reason for the breakup was that the relationship had basically run it’s course and there was nothing left there anymore. After being together for 5 years, the relationship was over.
According to an interview that Megan Fox did last November for GQ, the wedding was still on and she was hoping for a small wedding or possibly eloping. There was never any talk of wanting any children, as Brian Austin Green already has a 6 year old son with actress Vanessa Marcil. Fox said that she wanted to do more movies like Transformers and then she would “explore family” options.
Megan Fox, who will be starring in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this June and Green, who has a regular role on the television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, are now both “focusing on their careers.”

The “cupcake” android firmware upgrade facilitates using video recording capabilities for the phone. It can also reach out to the android market through a web kit browser.
RAM/ROM
The model has 256 megabyte ROM and 192 megabyte RAM for the purpose of acute data transfer and storage. Let’s keep our fingers crossed about the android hoopla nut the phone deserves all the attention it’s getting.

India vs New Zealand 1st T20 Pre-Match
T20 champions India will take on New Zealand in their first T20 match at the Ami Park today. For the Men In Blue the worrisome factor is only the Kiwi weather and not their opponents.
Although, New Zealand team is dubbed to be the most resilient, they had to take Jacob Oram in the team who is known to clear the ball out of sight in anybody’s bowling and there is great striker in their keeper Brendon McCullum who is equally capable of devastating the opponents bowling. Captain Vettori too can play according to team situation and the match will be interesting to follow.

Their opening pair is the most explosive one amongst all T20 teams with Gambhir and Sehwag both in great touch and form. Then Indian team has street smart hitter in Yusuf Pathan and Suresh Raina and we know how Singh the King can clear the ground with his famous sixes and fours. Captain Dhoni can slow down or accelerate the scoring depending on team’s situation and it will be tough for the Men in Black to face the world champions today.

India played with very high expectations and to say it did disappoint from poor batting. Both the in-form openers Gambhir and Sehwag failed today and even the captain and Yuvraj too didn’t impress with their batting. It was only Suresh Raina who had been somewhat resilient to the New Zealand bowling and he didn’t good support from any of the batters. Harbhajan thrilled the viewers with some quick hits and in the end I felt that India still posted a decent total of 162 for the loss of 8 wickets.
New Zealand started their innings with a not-so-decent start losing their opener Jesse Ryder to Ishant Sharma. But then McCullum and Guptill stick to some game plan kind of shots; enthralling audience in between with some classy fours. McCullum remained unbeaten at 56 and Guptill went out 41 to Harbhajan. Taylor also chipped in useful runs but it was Jacom Oram who thrilled with some high flying shots and he hit the winning six for kiwis with 7 balls to spare. The result of the match will give kiwis all the confidence to face India and some lesson to the Indian youngsters to come out of the groove of excess confidence.

Slumdog Millionaire Rules at the Oscars
Monday, February 23rd, 2009Slumdog Millionaire took home 8 awards at the Oscar Academy Awards 2009 yesterday. Most important of all the movie won Best Picture and Best Directing. It’s only convenient that the small movie was about a guy overcoming life’s obstacles and here the movie is winning Academy Awards. The movie also won awards for Best Song, Best Music Score, Best Editing, and Best Cinematography.
Other award winners included Kate Winslet for best actress in the movie The Reader, and Sean Penn for best actor in the movie Milk. This was the first win Oscar win for Kate Winslet who said that when she was 8 years old she used to practice her Oscar acceptance speech with a shampoo bottle in the bathroom mirror.
There was an emotional time during the Oscars when late Heath Ledger’s family, including his sister and father, accepted his Oscar award for best supporting actor in Dark Knight. His actual award will be going to his daughter Matilda. The best supporting actress award went to Penelope Cruz for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, who asked if anyone has ever fainted before on the stage.
