WWE WrestleMania 25 will be taking place in Houston, Texas on April 5, 2009. Yes, it’s that time of year again and there will be plenty of excitement for this event. Just as it is every year, WrestleMania is sure to please fans that have been waiting since last year to see the latest event.
Currently, the WrestleMania 2009 ticket prices are expected to sell up to $755 for the best seats at the event but as low as $40 for the lowest priced seats. You can find seats for a wide range of prices if you have an interest in a slightly better view. There is no word on what the PPV will cost this time around. In recent years there has been some talk of lowering the price because of disappointing sales, but that has not yet been confirmed. There is some belief among the producers of the show that WrestleMania fans will be willing to pay any price that is asked for the PPV event.
There has been a great deal of speculation on the contenders and the big winners of the evening’s events. In the match for world champion it is up to Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Mr. Kennedy, Evan Bourne, Brian Kendrick, MVP and Ricky Ortiz. Who will get the title of World Champion in this event is anyone’s guess. This is a new generation of wrestling talent and getting their faces out there is a prestigious moment for many of them.
It is rumored that there will be more than eighty thousand fans flocking to the event in Texas. Those who are not quick to grab their tickets for the April event will find they are out of luck as those who have them are unlikely to give them up. There has been no official lineup for the contenders this year, but it is guaranteed to be a great show no matter who is in the ring.
There have been some interesting rumors surrounding a return of the legend Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin going at it in the ring, but these have not been confirmed or denied as of yet. Whoever ends up fighting in the ring, there will be some serious entertainment for fans of WrestleMania, especially those who have been watching for the last twenty five events.
If the past is any indication of the kind of celebrities you could expect to see, this year should be a spectacular event. In the past there have been celebrities such as Snoop Dogg, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Ice-T, Pam Anderson, Jenny McCarthy and that’s just for starters. Musical guests for the event have included Reba McEntire, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and many more. These guests were not just attending the event, but actually performed for the record breaking crowds.
If you have been watching all year long and are eager to see the big winners during the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, you should get out there and get your tickets now before they are all gone. Or gather your pals together for the PPV event in your home and have a party. It is great entertainment for everyone who gets a chance to see this once a year extravaganza.

Randy Orton won the match in 2009 and will have the opportunity to choose to wrestle for the WWE, World Heavyweight, or ECW Championship at WrestleMania.
Speculation is that Trish Stratus will make a return to WWE for a match against Beth Phoenix at WrestleMania 25.
Mickey Rourke pulled out of WrestleMania 25 match against Chris Jericho.
He would not be competing at the event.WWE subsequently reconfirmed Rourke’s appearance on January 31, 2009, where it was announced that he had been invited as a guest, and not as a competitor, for WrestleMania XXV.
On Monday Night RAW (February 16), Shawn Michaels challenged John “Bradshaw” Layfield to a match the following week. The winner would advance to WrestleMania XXV to challenge The Undertaker and his WrestleMania undefeated streak.
Vladimir Kozlov has also challenged The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania as announced on SmackDown (February 20) by SmackDown general manager Vickie Guerrero.
On February 23, 2009, The Money in the Bank ladder match was announced for WrestleMania XXV . In this match, eight participants will compete to retrieve a briefcase (using a ladder) that is suspended above the ring with a cable. The Winner gets a chance to exchange it for a WWE, World Heavyweight, or ECW Championship match at any time or location until one year. On Raw (February 23), CM Punk qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match by defeating The Miz and John Morrison in a triple threat match.

It is also a time for some spectacular entertainment during the half time show and the introduction of the best in television advertising. Many people tune into the game to watch the advertisements in between the big plays. The half time show this year is going to feature Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, if that isn’t enough to get you tuned in to the game, nothing will.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are the favorite in the game, but the fans of the Cardinals would beg to differ considering their amazing journey through to the Superbowl. Anyone who thinks they are sure about who will win this game is just not looking at history. But if you must, place your bets on the team of your choice and you just might come out a big winner.

Google, the most popular search engine by a long mile, has had successes in connecting fields (read Orkut) and its own email service is on a perpetual high (read gmail). The always changing face of the Google keeps doing the same: keep changing.
Google GDrive, a web tool that would stake its claim to take complete control of the PCs, in under construction stage. The analytical engineers are sealing all pores and trying to give it an indispensable outlook. If the tool hits the market and becomes a success, Google may see its already burgeoning bank accounts flushing with inordinate funds.
The GDrive would have intended space for the emails, bookmarks, favorites, hyperlinks and other concrete things, adding three-fold performance to the normal drives C, D or E. Though Microsoft and Bill Gates are repainting strategies to come up with its own unique instrument called Mesh, and get predominance because of the way they boast of their presence in the worlds PCs, it seems the competition might turn them both into a quasi-community market with both selling lie hot cakes.
Google has the penchant of thinking ahead of time, and the inspirational GDrive would surely have elements unheard of. They happen to have a secret recipe for success and even the best are found wanting in cracking Google’s success code.
One fails to gauze though how Google intends to earn through this Google GDrive. But everyone, that trusts Google with network sharing, secretly knows that it has hidden aces up its sleeves.
The Wrestler Movie Review
Wednesday, January 28th, 2009One of the most powerful gut wrenching movies to have come up in recent time, “The Wrestler” gives “Raging Bull” a stiff fight in the taut atmosphere it creates with the audience. Tipped to a strong presence in this year’s Oscar applecart, “The Wrestler” clearly promises much.
True that you cannot replicate Robert De Niro, but Mickey Rourke is no amateur either. The pathos which he brings to his character Randy Robinson in the flick is chilling. It seems to imitate life in a big way.
After a sabbatical of 20 years, when the wrestler reveled in incredulous fame, Randy finds himself distraught in personal life, and reduced to being a mere wrestling performer in gyms. The fire, however, refuses to burn out and has been pining in him all these years for yet another stint in the ring. And then the chance arrives.
“The wrestler” is an ode to the eternal spirit of champions, brought to the zenith by the smart and brilliant actor. His new love (Marisa Tomei) and once-separated daughter (Evan Rachel wood) put in realistic acts to give the movie a classy edge.
The grace with which the director Darren Aronofsky plays with subtle plots is sure to place him high among credible artists of his niche. The return to stardom score, though not new to the business of filmmaking has found very intense touch with “The wrestler”. One wonders how movies made on sports strike the popular chord with such regularity.
The movie is worth every penny spent on it.

He made history on September 13, 2008 when, after moving up to 135 pounds, the 35-year-old defeated the powerful Cuban boxer Joel Casamayer to claim the Ring Magazine World Lightweight Championship. He landed a textbook right hand on Casamayer in the 11th round, and even though Casamayer got back up, Marquez sent him back to the mat and won the round.
Juan Diaz, called the Baby Bull, was only nine when Marquez debuted in 1993, but just because he’s ten years younger than Marquez does not mean he’s weaker. In fact, even though he’s only been boxing for eight years, he has sped through the ranks and earned a reputation as a very exciting boxer. He currently has a 34-1 record and has 17 KOs. He has held the World Lightweight Championship three times, during which he defeated Julio Diaz and Acelino Freitas.
As an amateur, Diaz thought he would represent Mexico at the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. However, he later found out he was too young to participate in the games. Rather than spending four more years at the amateur level, Diaz turned pro. At the young age of 16, he made his professional debut. Diaz won his first match and the next four matches after that by KO or TKO. He continued his winning streak until March 8, 2008, when a split decision game Nate Campbell the win and the IBF, WBA, and WBO Lightweight World Champion titles.
Diaz’s last fight was on September 6, 2008, against Australian Michael Katsidis. This bout also took place at the Toyota Center, giving Diaz experience with the arena. Diaz defeated Katsidis to claim the IBO Lightweight title in a No Retreat, No Surrender event. Two of the three judges, including Gale Van Hoy, the ringside judge, game Diaz the win.

Some people have very romantic dates planned for February 14, 2009 – St. Valentine’s Day -

but the date between Alfredo “Perro” Angulo and Ricardo Mayorga is anything but romantic. The two junior middleweight boxers will box live on HBO, and everyone expects the match to start with a bang and only get more fast-paced as it goes on.
Angulo, a boxer from Mexico, goes by the nickname Perro, which means “dog” in English. He plans on going after Mayorga just like a dog with a bone. His tenacity has proven victorious before; however, he has never taken on a former world champion before, and many wonder if he can stand up to Mayorga. Angulo is known for being a relentless puncher, though, so he may have more of a chance than critics give him credit for.
Angulo has a record of 14 to 0 with 11 KOs, and he’s coming off of a ten-bout KO streak that began back in 2006. Since he began his professional career, he has never suffered a loss. He has also represented Mexico at the 2004 Olympic Games and is ranked in the top ten by the WBC, WBO, and IBF (third, fifth, and eighth, respectively). Angulo is considered by many to be one of the hottest boxing stars in the world at the moment. He has defeated Andrey Tsurkan, Archak TerMeliksetian, and Richard Gutierrez, all top light middleweight boxers. The bout with Tsurkan, Angulo showcases Angulo’s rapid, relentless hitting skills – he averaged over 100 punches during each round.

Mayorga, on the other hand, has a record of 28-7-1 and has had 22 KOs in his career. The boxer from Nicaragua has defeated Fernando Vargas, Andrew Lewis, and Vernon Forrest, and he has held world titles in both the welterweight, super welterweight, and light middleweight divisions. Mayorga has previously retired from boxing. In October of 2004, three days after defeating Felix Trinidad, he announced he was leaving the sport. However, slightly less than a year later in August of 2005, he made his comeback.
The 35 year old boxer’s most recent bout was with Shane Mosley back in September. Mayorga did well in the beginning, but Mosley knocked him down with a right punch with 15 seconds left, leaving Mayorga battered. Mosley then took him down with several fast hits and then a left hand that left Mayorga on the mat again. The referee ended the match with a second left on the clock and declared Mosley the winner. Mayorga has also lost to several other big names in boxing, including Oscar de la Hoya.
The match-up is certain to be an interesting one. While Mayorga has more of a history in boxing and has trained longer, Angulo has a perfect record and has shown himself to be a serious competitor. Mayorga doesn’t hold back – he’s a very all or nothing type of boxer. However, Angulo’s average of a hundred punches in one round means that Mayorga needs to take him very seriously.
