Saturday, August 23rd, 2008Dual SIM mobile phones are basically those in which you can accommodate two SIM cards. Therefore, you could be using the same mobile phone and making calls from two separate numbers! Here are some of the popular dual SIM phones of today and a summary of their features.
The CECT N95 phone
Replicating Nokia’s N95 this phone has been manufactured by a Chinese company. The phone looks stunning with a unique slider design and ultra thin appearance. The prices are also much cheaper compared to the Nokia version – while Nokia N95 costs anywhere close to 650 dollars the CECT version costs one-third of it. There are numerous features such as dual slots for two SIM cards, complete MP3 as well as MP4 handling, Bluetooth 2.0, video cam and a 2 megapixel camera functionality. It even comes with a facility to read e-books on it owing to the large screen surface on this phone. There is also an ability to download numerous NES games onto this phone.
MTK 228 Phone
This is another fantastic dual SIM card phone that comes with a 2.6 inch touch screen interface. It also has finger touch ability on it. The camera has a 1/3 megapixel capacity and comes with auto focus as well. It can also perform as a web cam which makes the phone even more value for money. The phone also comes with MMS, SMS, WAP and GPRS features. It has an in-built FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and over 8 GB capacity memory. The presence of a complete keypad replete with scroll bar makes for easy texting facilities. The Picbrige interface facilitates easy and instant printing features. Also, unlike the iphone the MTK 228 is stylish, black and small thereby making it a style statement as well.
T200 TV phone
This one is another kid on the block as far as dual SIM phones are concerned. It comes with a 5 megapixel camera capacity and even has a telephoto zoom lens. It can work perfectly well on both the GSM-1800 as well as GSM-900 bands with equal ease. It comes with features like MP4 and MP3, WAP and GPRS. It also has standby SIM slots on dual mode. It also comes with an in-built FM radio, television and Bluetooth technology. It is possible to download over 2000 of the JAVAQQ, PPC 3D as well as PPC QQ games onto this phone.
New Tata Indica Vista

Tata Motors is all set to roll out its new Indica Vista in August 2008. When Tata’s launched the Indica in 1998, it was the first totally Indian Built Passenger car & there was a mad rush to own the diesel compact. Since then its been ruling the Indian roads and has been Tata’s brand builder. The Indica no’s were quite strong in the taxi segment. This to a certain extent hit the overall sales for Tata’s as the Indica slowly got stereotyped. Now, they have come out with a more futuristic version -the Tata Indica Vista, built on the Tata’s all new passenger car platform.
We were quite excited to have its first look at the Auto Expo held in Delhi. The first radical change on the looks are its swept back headlamp cluster. This would really catch everyone’s attention with its wide eyes kind of look. Even the tail has been smartly worked on with giving it a sleek & smoother finish. The bumpers give a wide look & the honeycomb grill adds to the overall appeal.
The interiors, is what stuns every one. Tata’s have quite done their home work & have understood the Indian market finally to give the inside space some class. The main change we would notice is the instrument cluster panel which is centrally mounted. Seats have been improved a lot with good thigh support, 60:40 option & a decent amount of space to have your family travel in comfort. Their dealer support tie up with Fiat will also build their brand image.
Thought Tata’s have their own 1.4 Turbo diesel, this car may sport the new 1.2 Liter petrol & 1.3 Liter CRDi from the Fiat stable and should be a treat to drive. This 1.3 engine is the similar one used in the popular Swift & Dezire variants. Some of the engine options in this new Vista would be as below.

Keywords in URL
Thursday, August 21st, 2008I was very curious to know if Keywords in URL would make any difference to your Search Engine Rankings. After a lot of research in various Webmaster Discussion Forums I found that some disagree, but most of them have noticed that Google (Yahoo & MSN too) gives the site a boost, if keywords were a part of the domain name or URL.
Then I went on to try Keyword Inclusion for iwebie.com for different posts and it worked very well compared to most other listed sites. This could be based on various other factors though.
Keywords Occurence in a url may be hyphenated, underscored or conjoined. In 2005, Google’s Matt Cutts wrote and discussed about the underscores vs dashes (hyphens) issue concerning how the keywords must be separated within your URL’s. He concluded in this article that both hyphens as well as underscores would be considered as keyword delimiters in URL’s. After that major search engines like Yahoo & MSN followed the same strategy of not differentiating between the 2 URL forms.
Its a good practice to have your primary keywords as a part of your url.
The best way to include keywords in Wordpress Posts is by using a Custom Permalink . In your Blog Post, your Page Title would usually contain the most relevant and primary keywords for that page. So by using a Custom Permalink such as this we include some of the keywords in the URL which is good.

As Published on August 20th : After Summerslam it was more obvious to predict what the matches will be. I believe that there would be 2 WWE Championship Scramble Match’s, one with 5 Raw Superstars and the other with the 5 SmackDown Superstars.
What is this Unforgiven Pay Per View Championship Scramble Match between CM Punk, Kane, Batista, JBL and John Cena?
These RAW Superstars will compete in a 20 minute match with the World Heavyweight Championship Belt changing hands with every pinfall or submission that takes place within the 20 minute match. The man who is the Champion when the 20 minutes is up will be declared the new World Heavyweight Champion.
This match was announced by the RAW General Manager Mike Admale on the night after SummerSlam 2008.
Here are my 2008 Unforgiven Predictions of the other Matches for the 2008 WWE Unforgiven PPV;

We might witness the return of the RKO Randy Orton as we have not seen him from a long time.
I predict HBK would return to WWE for one last match. I think the rivalries between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jerico is one of the biggest on Raw that we see today. The returning HBK has to deal with Chris Jericho at ringside after he got busted wide open over the past few weeks on RAW.

Boxer Vijender enters the Semi’s – assures another medal for India

Vijender Kumar defeated Ecuador’s Carlos Gongora 9-4 assuring India yet another medal when he entered the semi-finals of the middleweight (75kg) category on Wednesday. This also marks India’s best performance in an Olympic event with 3 medals & the first one in boxing. He was not too aggressive but held his nerves and outplayed Gongora with his sharp reflexes and sound defense which helped him dominate all four rounds with the scores 2-0,2-1,3-2 & 2-1.
He will now face Emilio Correa of Cuba in the Semi Finals on Aug 22nd at 12.45 PM IST. Write down the time somewhere, put an alarm, make a banner, however but please watch the fight.
Earlier, Jitender Kumar lost his 51kg quarter-final bout and missed out an Olympic medal. Jitender lost to European champion Georgy Balakshin of Russia in the last eight stage 15-11.
In his home town of Bhiwani (Haryana), the sadness the Local people felt after Jitender lost was washed away in the euphoria of Vijender’s win.
ALL THE VERY BEST to Vijender in the Semi Finals & I really wish India’s medal count in boxing starts off with a Gold added to it.
Wrestler Sushil Kumar Wins Bronze At The 2008 Beijing Olympics
Wednesday, August 20th, 2008Sushil Kumar created yet more history for India when he clinched the Bronze medal today at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. This Wrestler from Patiala (Punjab) defeated Leonid Spiridonov of Kazakhstan 3-1 in the Men’s freestyle 66kg category.
Sushil had lost in the first round bout in 66kg freestyle wrestling against Andriy Stadnik of Ukraine. Sushil got another chance against Doug Schwab in the repechage Round 1. He defeated him 3 – 1. Then in the round 2 he defeated Albert Betyrov 3 -1 again to get a chance for a Bronze Medal Clash. He faced Leunid Spiridonov whom he defeated, 3 – 1, to win the BRONZE Medal.
With this win, Sushil won the first ever medal for India in Wrestling since 1952. This is also the first time since the 1952 Helsinki Olympics(when India won Gold- Hockey and Bronze- Wrestling [Khashaba Jadhav] in Men’s Freestyle Bantanweight) that India has won two medals at a single Olympics. This seems like one of the Best Olympics for India.

The programs IIMC currently offer are:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) – This is an two-year program and is equivalent to a MBA degree.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Aided Management (PGDCM) – This is a two-year program specific to IT industry and is equivalent to a MBA degree.
- Fellow Programme in Management(FPM) – It takes around 4-5 years to complete and is equivalent to a Ph.D
- Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPEX) – This is an one year program and is equivalent to a MBA degree.
- Post Graduate Programme for Executives-Visionary Leaders for Manufacturing Program (PGPEX-VLMP) – This is a one year program and is specific to manufacturing industry and is equivalent to a MBA degree.
The admissions for PGDM and PGDCM is through CAT.
3) Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM B)
The programs IIMB currently offer are:
- Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM)
- Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) – The above two programs are two-year program and is equivalent to a MBA degree.
- Post Graduate Programme in Software Enterprise Management (PGSEM) – You should finish it in a maximum of 6 years and is equivalent to a MBA degree. This is suitable for working executives.
- Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) – It takes around 4-5 years to complete and is equivalent to a Ph.D
The admissions for PGPPM and PGP is through CAT. For PGSEM you should either take CAT or GMAT or PGSEM Admission Test.
4) Indian School of Business, Hyderabad (ISB)
It is ranked as one of the Top Business schools in India and Asia along with the IIM’s. The programs ISB currently offer are :
- Post Graduate Programme in Management – This is a rigorous one-year program and is equivalent to a MBA degree.
- Pre-Doctoral Programme
Admission is through GMAT.
5) Xavier Labour Research Institute, Jamshedpur (XLRI)
It is one of the top Management Institutes in India. The courses offered by XLRI are
- Business Management Programme – This is a two year course and is equivalent to a MBA degree.
- Personnel Management and Industrial Relations Programme – This is also a two year course and is equivalent to a MBA degree.
- General Management Programme – This is also an one year course and is equivalent to a MBA degree. This is suitable for Working executives with minimum 5 years of experience.
- Fellow Programme in Management – This is a Doctoral level (Ph.D) program.
Admission is through the XAT entrance exam conducted by XLRI normally in late december/early january
